These terms apply to your use of the Cool Game website and to any products you buy from us. Please read them carefully. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Cool Game, a hunting field-refrigeration brand based in Ireland. You can reach us at info@coolgame.ie.
2. Our products
Cool Game designs and sells portable field-refrigeration equipment for hunters and outdoor users. We try to describe and picture our products as accurately as possible, but slight variations in colour, finish and specification may occur. Product images are for illustration.
Our equipment is designed to help keep harvested game chilled and hygienic in the field and in transport. It is your responsibility to use the equipment correctly and to comply with all applicable food-safety, game-handling and transport regulations in your country.
3. Registering your interest
At present, much of the site is for registering interest rather than buying. Registering your interest places you under no obligation to purchase, and places no obligation on us to supply. We will contact you about availability and offers as described when you register, and you can opt out at any time.
4. Prices and currency
Prices are shown in euro (EUR) unless stated otherwise. Where prices are displayed in another currency, this is indicative; the amount actually charged is confirmed at checkout. Applicable VAT and shipping are calculated and shown at checkout based on your delivery country. We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders we have already accepted.
5. Orders and contract
When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. We will send an acknowledgement, but a binding contract is formed only when we confirm that your order has been accepted and/or dispatched. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if a product is unavailable, if there is a pricing error, or if we cannot deliver to your location — in which case we will refund any payment taken.
6. Payment
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details. By paying, you confirm that you are authorised to use the chosen payment method.
7. Delivery
We deliver via DHL and other carriers, with shipping rates shown at checkout per destination country. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. You are responsible for providing accurate delivery details. Any customs duties or import charges for deliveries outside the EU are your responsibility unless stated otherwise.
8. Your right to cancel (EU consumers)
If you are a consumer in the EU, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
- To cancel, tell us within the 14-day period by emailing info@coolgame.ie.
- Return the goods to us within 14 days of telling us, unused and in their original condition and packaging.
- We will refund the price and standard delivery cost within 14 days of receiving the goods back (or proof that you have returned them).
- You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods, and for any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to check them.
9. Faulty goods and your legal rights
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If a product is faulty or not as described, contact us and we will repair, replace or refund it as required by law.
10. Warranty and correct use
Our products are built and tested to perform in demanding field conditions. Any manufacturer warranty will be supplied with the product. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, unauthorised modification, or failure to follow the supplied instructions. Refrigeration performance depends on factors including ambient temperature, power supply and correct set-up.
11. Our liability
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it. You are responsible for ensuring that game is handled and stored in line with applicable food-safety law; our equipment is an aid, not a substitute for proper game-handling practice.
12. Intellectual property
All content on this site — including text, images, video, logos and the Cool Game name and stag emblem — is owned by or licensed to Cool Game and may not be copied or used without our permission.
13. Privacy
We handle your personal data in line with our Privacy & Cookie Policy.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts. If you are a consumer, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page when you place your order. The "last updated" date above shows the latest revision.
