This policy explains what personal data Cool Game collects, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have — including how we use cookies. We are committed to handling your data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish ePrivacy Regulations.
1. Who we are
For the purposes of data protection law, the data controller is Cool Game, a hunting field-refrigeration brand based in Ireland.

2. The data we collect
We only collect data that we need. Depending on how you use the site, this may include:
When you register your interest or contact us
- Your name and email address
- Your country
- The product or enquiry type you selected, and any message you choose to send us
When you place an order (once our shop is live)
- Your name, billing and delivery address, email and phone number
- Order details and order history
- Payment is processed securely by Stripe — we do not see or store your full card number
Automatically, when you use the site
- Technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, and pages viewed
- Analytics and advertising identifiers via cookies — only if you accept them (see Section 6)
3. How and why we use your data
We use your personal data for the following purposes, each with a legal basis under the GDPR:

If you register your interest, we will contact you about Cool Game availability in your region and related offers, as you requested. Every marketing message includes an easy way to unsubscribe, and you can opt out at any time by emailing info@coolgame.ie.
5. Who we share your data with
We share data only with trusted service providers who help us run the business, and only as far as needed. These include:
- Stripe — secure payment processing
- DHL (and other carriers) — order delivery
- Google (Google Analytics) — site analytics, where you consent
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram Pixel) — advertising and measurement, where you consent
- Our email and hosting providers — to operate the site and reply to you
We may also disclose data where required by law, or to protect our legal rights.
6. Cookies
Essential cookies
These are needed for the site to function — for example, remembering your cookie choice and keeping your shopping cart working. They are always on and do not require consent.
Analytics & advertising cookies
These help us understand how the site is used and show you relevant ads. They are set by:
- Google Analytics — anonymous, aggregated traffic measurement
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — measuring ad performance and retargeting
7. International transfers
Some of our providers (such as Stripe, Google and Meta) may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where this happens, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy framework.
8. Your rights

- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish supervisory authority, the Data Protection Commission — www.dataprotection.ie.
9. How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected — for example, enquiry details for as long as needed to follow up with you, and order records for as long as required by tax and accounting law (generally six years in Ireland).
10. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and restricting access to personal data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
